Beecave Woods is one of the few Eanes ISD neighborhoods that is walkable to both the elementary and middle school. Originall built in the late 1970s and early 1980s, Beecave Woods homes sit on large 1/4-1/2 acre lots and are surrounded by mature trees. You are starting to see some builders buy some of the smaller, older homes and tear them down and build a brand new home, so you will have a few of those options if you’re looking for newer construction. Beecave Woods home sizes range from 1,576-4,902 square feet, with a median size of 2,788 square feet and 3-5 bedrooms and 2-6 bathrooms. Homes on the north side of Thousand Oaks Drive back to Eanes Creek, so those will get a greenbelt view with a wet weather creek. This street in particular is unique because it is rare to find this type of tranquil, country setting virtually right downtown in a great school district. For commuters, Beecave Woods is the ideal spot. Residents have easy access to Bee Cave Rd, Walsh Tarlton Lane, 360 and MoPac. Though you are only minutes from Barton Creek Mall, Trader Joe’s, Intel and Downtown Austin, you can’t tell when you’re in the neighborhood. With a more suburban vibe, Beecave Woods residents have the luxury of convenience and tranquility. Scroll Down to Read our Beecave Woods Neighborhood Guide.
