Things to Do Near Canyon Mesa
Bull Creek Greenbelt is somewhere to go if you want to be outdoors. There is one swimming area, a fishing pier, picnic tables , a volleyball court and 6 miles of trails.
Shop at The Arboretum. You’ll find every major retailer as well as several restaurant choices if you get hungry.
Gateway Shopping. If the Arboretum does do it for you, head over to the Gateway for more shopping, to hit the movie theater or shop at Whole Foods.
Places to Eat in Canyon Mesa
Rudy’s BBQ on Research Blvd is the place to go for BBQ. Some favorites include their brisket, creamed corn and ribs. There are a several locations around Texas and in other states. But, definitely good BBQ.
Osaka Mansun Restaurant on Research Blvd for sushi, Japanese and Korean food. They have great lunch specials that run you about $15 per person for sushi. Pretty good price considering the sushi is very fresh.
Mirabelle on Mesa Drive is another favorite. Though a little bit of a drive from Canyon Mesa, it is definitely worth it. I’ve only been there for lunch, but I’m sure their dinners are just as fabulous as their lunches. The chef really knows how to pair different flavors well.
