Bryker Woods Neighborhood Guide

With origins dating back as far as 1886, Bryker Woods is one of the few Central Austin neighborhoods with a registered historic district. The bulk of this 750 home neighborhood was developed in the mid-late 1930s, so you’ll find mostly small, well kept bungalows with a few historic homes and even some new construction intermixed. Residents are drawn to the mature, tree lined streets, proximity to Downtown Austin and the Shoal Creek Greenbelt, as well as easy access to MoPac. Spanning across the eastern border of the neighborhood, the Shoal Creek Trail provides miles of hike and bike trails that will take you to neighboring Pease Park. With all Bryker Woods has to offer, most residents stay in Bryker Woods as long they can before they have to look elsewhere. Scroll Down to Read our Bryker Woods Neighborhood Guide
